Powers Lake K-12 Community:
The start of the 2021-2022 school year is closer than you think for Powers Lake Public School. It is vital that we protect our students from diseases such as measles, mumps, chickenpox, and pertussis.
According to North Dakota Century Code 23-07-17.1, all students in grades kindergarten through 12 are mandated to meet a minimum number of immunization requirements prior to entering school. Students in Powers Lake who are not up-to-date, or do not have an immunization record on file may be excluded after October 1st.
Please contact Stacy Schomer @ First District Health @ 701-377-2316 or your primary care provider to update your vaccinations before the start of school this August.
