After tonight’s school board meeting the Powers Lake School mask policy is as follows:
Masks are required if 6 ft physical distance is not possible and masks are required on all school transportation. Otherwise masks are highly recommended in all other situations.
Powers Lake School K-12 Community:
This an update to the previous message regarding masks in school on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. For the first two days, masks will be required when physical distancing is not possible. Otherwise, masks will be recommended in all other situations. This allows school administration more time to gather information from teachers and parents on Tuesday and Wednesday before the the school board meeting on Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday evening, the Powers Lake School Board will meet @ 6:00 pm to address verbiage, recommendations, requirements, and specifics regarding our school mask policy. Powers Lake School Community:
Last night, Governor Burgum amended the executive order for winter activities for schools. Winter sports practices and extracurricular activities will be allowed to resume Nov. 30th with extra precautions, while competitions will remain suspended until Dec. 14th.
