Due to Governor Burgum's executive order concerning COVID-19, Powers Lake Public School is closed at least until March 31st. Our distance learning model will begin on Tuesday, March 24th for K-12 students and staff. There will be more information about to-go-delivery lunch services that may also start next Tuesday.
Next week's Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 26th have been postponed.

Breakfast and lunch will be served again tomorrow for students. Breakfast will be served from 8:10 AM to 8:30 AM. Lunch will be served from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. All meals will be provided in to-go containers.
Please use the following link to let us know if you would like breakfast and/or lunch on Tuesday, March 17th. Meals will be made available in takeout / togo containers with plastic silverware. Please come by the school at the designated times below for each meal.

Tonight's school board meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, March 23rd @ 6 pm in the school library.

The Powers Lake School has decided to suspend the Elementary basketball season. There will be no games or practices. We will re-evaluate the situation after spring break.

The dress up theme for tomorrow’s game is blaze orange and camouflage. We are hunting the Wildcats. Kids and staff are invited to dress up for school as well. The Ranchers will play at 7:30 tomorrow night at 4Bears Event Center.
The boys basketball team will play Trenton tonight at the 4 Bears Event Center. Game will also be aired on Bek Sports and streamed on bek.coop
The boys basketball team will play Trenton tomorrow in the first round of the regional tournament. There will be a fan bus for students in grades 6-12 going to New Town tomorrow for the game. The bus will leave at 4:45. Students can sign up in the office. Also the theme for tomorrow’s game for fans is “Hawaiian”.
Due to other extracurricular activites being offered for the elementary students afterschool, to include elementary basketball and Math Meet practice, we have decided to end the afterschool program effective immediately.
Thank for you a great year as we will look to start the after school program again for the 2020-2021 school year.
The following parent memo regarding student attendance will be sent home today in folders for students in grades K-5. Please take a moment to look for the letter today after school. It will also be stored on our website under the Documents section in the folder "Elementary".

ACT will be tomorrow at Bethel Baptist Church! Be there @ 8am as Mr. Gruenberg will provide donuts, you provide the drinks. Also, lunch will be ordered from The Food Barn. Don't be late!

The district tournament will be streamed on the nfhs site. You will have to pay to watch. The boys play Divide Co. at 6:00.
Correction both the boys and girls will practice Thursday the 27 of February.
