According to new ESSA guidelines, each school must have a way to assess student progress throughout school. The Powers Lake school would like to use the ACT test, which all juniors take, instead of the North Dakota State Assessment which our sophomore class now takes to measure our progress for high school students. In order to do this we must give opportunity for community feed back. If you do not agree with our school making this change please call the school (7014645432) or email Mr. Wisthoff at seth.wisthoff@k12.nd.us to let us know your concerns. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Attention parents: The concession list on the school webpage has been updated under the Documents tab! Please click on the link below to check on serving lists and dates for the remaining home basketball games.

Tomorrow's girls games verses Mandaree will start at 5:15 and the boys will follow at 6:45. BEK Sports will be televising the games. We encourage all attendees to wear Rancher gear to show your school spirit.
Parents/guardians: all students need to wear a coat both to and from school. Students will not be able to board buses without a coat. Also if the temperature or windchill are below zero students will not be allowed to leave after school without a parent to sign them out if they do not have a coat. Please plan accordingly.
