There will be a public meeting on Tuesday, November 30th @ 6:30 pm in the school lunchroom concerning a possible co-op between Powers Lake and Burke Central that would include volleyball, girls basketball, boys basketball, and track. A special board meeting will follow immediately after the public meeting.

The District 16 Volleyball Tournament starts this Thursday, October 28th at Ray High School. The #6 Powers Lake Ranchers play the #3 Ray Jays @ 7:00 pm that evening. The dress-up themes are as follows:

This week is Red Ribbon week at our school. This is a week to raise drug and alcohol awareness with our students. Tomorrow the dress up day is whiteout.
Tonight’s VB game against Tioga will be our “Dig Pink” night. This is to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. There will be a bake sale going on with all proceeds going to local individuals dealing with cancer.

If you received a letter from 1st District Health regarding your student's required immunization status, your forms are due tomorrow for next week's school immunization clinic on Wednesday, September 15th. Please turn in the forms to the office as soon as possible.

The 2020 annual is $30 and the 2021 annual is $35.
The JH football game with MLS in Powers Lake will begin Tuesday at 5:15 pm. The JV game will start right after the JH game concludes. Concessions will be served.
Powers Lake K-12 Community:
Before we start the 2021-2022 school year, it is vital that we protect our students from diseases such as measles, mumps, chickenpox, and pertussis. According to North Dakota Century Code 23-07-17, all students in grades kindergarten through 12 are mandated to meet a minimum number of requirements prior to entering school. Students in Powers Lake who are not up-to-date, or do not have an immunization record on file may be excluded after October 1st.
For your convenience, Powers Lake Public School is hosting an immunization clinic at the school on Wednesday, September 15th starting right away in the morning.
