Parents and Guardians:
Over the last two days, there has been some issues with our students not wearing appropriate winter clothing to and from school. As you could guess, elementary students have been better about it then our junior high and high school.
At the very least, all students should have a good winter jacket when wind chills are below -10, let alone 0 degrees. Hat, gloves, boots, and snow pants are also needed for elementary students.
It is possible for junior high and high school students to be practicable and fashionable at the same time.

There will be a public meeting on Tuesday, November 30th @ 6:30 pm in the school lunchroom concerning a possible co-op between Powers Lake and Burke Central that would include volleyball, girls basketball, boys basketball, and track. A special board meeting will follow immediately after the public meeting.

The District 16 Volleyball Tournament starts this Thursday, October 28th at Ray High School. The #6 Powers Lake Ranchers play the #3 Ray Jays @ 7:00 pm that evening. The dress-up themes are as follows:

This week is Red Ribbon week at our school. This is a week to raise drug and alcohol awareness with our students. Tomorrow the dress up day is whiteout.
Tonight’s VB game against Tioga will be our “Dig Pink” night. This is to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. There will be a bake sale going on with all proceeds going to local individuals dealing with cancer.
