Powers Lake FFA 50 year picnic is next Friday July 9th at Lake Park. Everyone is welcome. Starts at 5:30 pm. Please bring a dish to share and a chair. Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks will be provided. FFA members should help with set up or clean up afterwards. Also, students planning to join FFA can pay their $15 dues and get a t-shirt at the picnic. Hope to see you all there.

Powers Lake Public School will be receiving ESSER dollars for educational relief due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tonight is the Powers Lake School Awards Banquet. We will be handing out letters and awards for all extracurricular and academic activities as well as recognizing students on the Honor Roll and with good attendance. Awards will be given for students in grades 7-12 as well as 6th grade students who participated in Junior High sports. A free-will donation meal will be served by the FBLA. The meal starts at 6 pm with the awards ceremony to follow. Everyone welcome.

Updated K-12 Parent Information: Early out today as students will be released right before 1:00 pm. The math meet in Powers Lake on Friday will start @ 12:30. Parents are allowed to attend. Burke County Math Meet is on Wed, May 5th @ 12:30 in Lignite. Parents are allowed to attend.
