Powers Lake School Community:
After last night's school board meeting, we have decided to take next Monday and Tuesday off due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in Burke County and the number of quarantined staff and students due to close contact guidelines.
This break is also for our staff, students, and community to reset and spend quality time with immediate family. School will not be in session again until Monday, November 30th. Be strong and stay safe and healthy.
John Gruenberg

Powers Lake K-12 School Community:
On Friday evening, Gov. Burgum issued a statewide mask mandate that affects all indoor public settings. Due to this executive order, all students and staff will be required to wear face coverings starting on Monday, November 16th through Monday, December 14th.
Also, the executive order postponed the start of all winter activities beginning on November 16th through Monday, December 14th. These activities include games and practices as girls basketball will not start tomorrow after school.
All ND school superintendents will meet on Zoom tomorrow afternoon to find out more information about how this executive order affects our day-to-day activity within the school to include recess, PE, and music.
All decisions about the above information has been discussed with both the Powers Lake administrative team as well as individual school board members.
If you have any other concerns or questions, please call or text Mr. Gruenberg @ 701-500-3115.
In this together, each and every day. Rancher Pride!
