Powers Lake School K-5 Elementary Parents:
This year for fall conferences, we are using an online tool called SignUpGenius. Please use the link below to signup for a time slot with your student's teacher. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, conferences will be limited to 10 minutes per student. Some info below about tonight's volleyball games in Kenmare:
At this time there are no fan limitations as our school is still green. Masks are strongly recommended.
Guest fans will sit on the north side of the gym behind the bench as usual. Fans are not to sit in front row of bleachers. If you sit behind score table, please wear masks as our score clock worker wears his.
$5 ticket for everyone in 1st grade and up. All games will be streamed live on the "Kenmare Honkers" YouTube channel.

The JH football game @ Parshall and the JV football game in Ray vs. Watford City have been postponed today.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Surrey will only allow 250 people to the football game tonight. Each visiting player was given two tickets to allow parents to attend. There is also parking along the south side of the field that will allow additional attendance, but admission will be required.

When picking up students on the west side of the school, please keep in mind the following information:
Traffic flows from south to north off of Anderson St.
Stay in a single file line as cars move up to pick up students.
Do not park on the west side of the west parking lot.
Do not get out of your vehicle on the road and have your student run between cars to get to you.
We do our very best to take care of all of our kids as we want to be as safe as possible during after school pick-up.

Ray / Powers Lake vs. Divide County
Important information tonight's game:
There WILL NOT be a spectator limit for the game. Divide County will livestream the game on their school Facebook page. It will also be broadcast on KTGO 1090 AM. Concessions will be available.
The volleyball game tonight is in Lignite @ 6:00 pm for JV and 7:00 pm for Varsity. The gym capacity is 275 as all tickets will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Concessions will also be served.
Powers Lake School Community:
JV/V Volleyball tonight vs. Divide County in Powers Lake @ 6:00 pm. Due to capacity restrictions because of COVID-19, home players will each receive 6 tickets to allow for immediate family to attend games. There will also be 23 extra tickets available for tonight's games on a first-come, first-serve basis. Extra tickets will be available at the gate.
Beginning September 1st, breakfast and lunch is FREE to all Powers Lake Public School Students. The USDA has granted a waiver extension for free meals until December 31st, 2020. This means ALL students in grades K-12 will receive free breakfasts and lunches until December 31st, 2020, regardless of their free/reduced status.
What you need to know:
You may continue to fill out free and reduced applications to ensure that your status will remain in January 2021. If you have already filled out an application and been considered reduced or denied, you will not be charged for meals until January 2021.
The free meal is intended to be a complete meal. Students wanting to purchase individual items, such as milk or an extra entree must pay a la carte prices.
Any money on your student’s account will remain until charges begin again on January 1st, 2021.
