
There will be Elementary Basketball games @ Powers Lake today vs. Burke County.
Two elementary GBB games will begin @ 4:30 pm and the elementary BBB game will begin @ 6:00 pm.

Reminder to juniors and seniors to fill out and turn in permission slips for capital trip.

The first round and evening sessions this weekend will be televised on WDAY(ABC) throughout the state. All 3 games will also be broadcast on the radio at 660 am KEYZ (660 keyz app) and 1320 am KHRT(khrt.com).

State t-shirt distribution will be on Wednesday evening following the pep rally. We will be at the school until 7:30pm. You can also pick up Thursday morning at The Country Store.

If you are planning on attending the Rancher games this weekend, the theme will be to flood the dome in maroon and gold. As much Rancher gear as possible every day! Go Ranchers!

There will be a community pep rally and sendoff at the high school for the boys as they head to state. The rally will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday March 13 and the sendoff will follow. Every one is welcome! Please spread the word.

On Monday, March 11th @ 6 pm, State Class BBB tickets will go on sale for the Powers Lake community in Mr. Wisthoff's room. There will be a lottery drawing to determine who will get first choice of remaining tickets with a maximum of those in your immediate family.
Also, you may go to the website www.msubeavertickets.com
to purchase additional reserved seating in sections 2 and 3, as it will be right next to the Powers Lake community section.

At the request of the players and coaches, there will not be a community-wide pep rally this afternoon. Come out to the game tonight in New Town, dressed in your best Rancher gear!

The boys basketball team will play Mandaree tomorrow night at approximately 7:30 for a chance to go to the state tournament. Theme for tomorrow is old school/Rancher gear. If you have old Or new Rancher apparel show up and support the boys!

With the win tonight, the Ranchers move on to play Stanley in the semi finals tomorrow night at 6 pm. Tomorrow’s theme is white out because the Ranchers are “bringing the storm.”

Tomorrow is our Elementary Music Recital. Times are approximate as follows:

The Powers Lake boys will play tonight in the district semi final in the Ray Gymnasium around 7 o clock tonight. They will play Stanley and the theme for fans is blackout. Bring your family out and let’s support the Ranchers, and wear black!

Tonight is parent’s night for boys basketball. All boys players in grades 6-12 and their parents will be recognized before the varsity game. Recognition may take place as early as 6:30, please plan accordingly. Also gymnastics will be performing at half time of the varsity game. Come out and enjoy our last home game of the season! Looking forward next week to the weather, grades K-5 may be able to go outside for recess. Please make sure your kids have proper winter clothing to include snow pants, boots, gloves, hat, warm coat, and face mask/scarf.

Due to extreme temperatures, school will start at 10:00 am on Friday, February 8th. Buses will leave @ 9am for morning routes. No breakfast.

Last day of spring PT conferences from 3:30 to 5:30 pm today.
Also, the lost and found table will stay outside the office through the end of the basketball season. Please come in and claim your student's gear before it is donated to a local charity!

Due to heavy snow accumulations and no travel advisory, school will start @ 10:00. Buses will run where possible.

The JV Boys will play at 1:00 today in Tioga for third place in the Tioga Tournament.
