The Powers Lake High School will have the academic awards night at the school tonight at 7pm. Grades 6-12 will be recognized. Music and FBLA will also hand out their end of the year awards. Come and help celebrate the academic and fine arts success of our students.

Due to the late winter storm on Monday, April 29th, the school day will have to be extended by 10 minutes to make up for our 1.5 hour late start. School will dismiss @ 3:30 pm on the following days:

The Daddy Daughter grand march will be open to the public at 7 pm tonight at the school.
Preschool screenings set for today will start at 10 am
Due to intermittent power outages and weather conditions, school and buses will be delayed 1.5 hours.
Due to the power outages, we will be postponing the daddy daughter dance. It will be tomorrow night (Monday, April 29th) with the following schedule: pictures from 6:00-7:00 and grand march at 7:00 with the dance to follow until 9:00. If you are unable to attend and have already paid, contact Brooke Wisthoff for reimbursement. Thank you for understanding the situation.

Reminder that the Powers Lake Grand March will start tonight at 8:30 pm in the gym.
Don't forget about our STEAM event at the school tonight from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Admission is $5 as bring out the family and celebrate science and technology at Powers Lake School!
Track meet today in Tioga has been cancelled.
An update in regards to the 6-12 music program:
There will be a 8-12 music recital on Tuesday, April 9th @ 2:10 pm in the school gym. The high school band, vocal and instrumental solos and ensembles will be performing. Students will be required to wear concert attire for the performance that afternoon.
Also, the 6-12 spring music concert has been rescheduled on Thursday, May 16th @ 7:00 pm.
The 6-12 music concert scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 has been moved to May 16. The music students will be performing a recital with all of their regional contest entries both choral and vocal starting @ 2:05 on Tuesday April 9 at the school. This will be open to the public. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we thank you for your flexibility.
