5-6 grade football players that would like to get their equipment tomorrow, a bus will leave the school at 4:00. If you have questions call or text coach Streifel at 701-705-4773. This is not required but will speed up the first day of practice. Practice will start after the first day of school and will be in Ray. Bus will leave right after school.
Don't forget about Back to School night tonight @ 5:00 pm. There will be a short assembly for K-5 parents in the gym @ 5:00 pm and then another assembly for 6-12 @ 6:30 pm. Welcome Back to School!

Also on Sunday there will be a 4-4 sand volleyball tournament held in Tioga with all proceeds going to the Jenkins family (from Crosby) that was in a tragic auto accident earlier this summer.
On Tuesday, August 7th, the school parking lot will be closed to repaint the parking lot lines for the 18-19 school year.
Please use the east parking lot by the baseball field or the gravel parking lot by the west entrance.
Football practice begins for 7-12 on Monday. 9-12 will leave the school at 6:30 am sharp. 7-8 will leave at 9 am sharp. The first varsity game will be august 17 in Ray vs Beach.
5-6 football will start after school on the first day of school. Go Outlaws!
Football players and parents of players in grades 7-12 that are interested in participating in football- there will be a meeting tonight at the Ray school at 7 pm. If parents cannot attend students can ride a bus that will leave the Powers Lake School at 6:00 pm.

Reminder that students need an athletic physical before they are able to participate this fall. Physicals will be available in Powers Lake at the clinic on Wednesdays. Appointments are still available for tomorrow. If a physical form is needed tomorrow, they can be picked up at the bank otherwise the school has the forms.

There will be an Outlaw football camp next week for grades 1-4 on Wednesday the 18 from 1-3:30 in Ray. No charge, a bus will leave the school at 12:00 pm and return after.
There will also be a camp for grades 5-8 in Powers Lake on Thursday the 19 from 1-4:30, everyone welcome.

Physical forms are available in the office. All students grades 4-12 participating in sports need to have a physical before competing this school year! It is great time to start making appointments.

Fireworks show tonight in Powers Lake has been cancelled due to accident with fireworks. Everyone is safe but there will be no show.
The following is a list of available options for students to complete their drivers ed classes. There are no local offerings this summer.
The Rancher Booster Club is looking for volunteers (any parent) to bring bars, water, or pop to help with the Powers Lake Rancher Athletic Booster Fundraiser at the 4th of July Firework show Wednesday evening! We would like 6 jelly roll size pan of bars, 4 cases of bottled water, and 6 cases of pop. We are requesting that the drinks be in coolers with ice and ready to go.
