An update for snow days and this year's school calendar. We only have to make-up one day as we have a free day built into our regular school day. The last day of school will be Thursday, May 24th.
Due to impending weather, hazardous travel conditions, and a no travel advisory, there will be no school today in Powers Lake.
School will start at 10am today. No breakfast program this morning due to the late start. Buses will run 1.5 hours late.
Don't forget about early out today as school is out @ 2:00 pm!
Today, your student takes the ACT! Be supportive, wish them luck, and make sure they are not late! Be @ the Baptist Church by 8:00 am for breakfast. Test starts promptly @ 8:30am.

Due to the Region BBB tournament being rescheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the Powers Lake BB Elementary Jamboree this Saturday will be rescheduled on a later date.
The regional tournament has again been postponed. Games will be played on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Powers Lake School will start tomorrow at 10:00 with buses where possible. No breakfast in the morning.
All eight NDHSAA Class B Boys Basketball Region Tournaments postponed today as due to forecasted heavy snow and poor travel conditions. Tournaments will now start on Tuesday, March 6th. Region 8 games will be played on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at Williston State College.
Due to school being closed today, the storm make up day will be Thursday, May 24. Mark your calendars as that will be the last day of school.
